In our modern world, food is thought of as only fuel, and it’s taking a toll on us, affecting our digestive and emotional health. Rose and Carrie are Holistic Health Coaches who are passionate about helping you reclaim your health through better food and lifestyle choices.
In this friendly and supportive workshop, Rose and Carrie will be discussing:
Bio-individuality: What food makes you thrive and what foods make you lag? How will you know when a food isn’t serving you well?
Crowding Out: How can you fill your life with foods that nourish your body and mind?
Food as Medicine: How does food influence your digestive health, your immune system, your emotions and overall health?
Practical Applications:We will share pantry makeover guides, cooking tips, food swap suggestions, real food resources, and recipes.
Carrie Russell is a Health Coach with a deep passion for empowering people to prevent illnesses and live vibrant, healthy, and sustainable lives. She has been a Registered Nurse since 2009 and her experience in hospitals broke her heart for people who suffer from conditions rooted in poor lifestyle habits. Healing from a time of high stress, poor health, and a serious back injury has taken her through her own health journey and she has come out on the other side more passionate to help other people through theirs. Her food and lifestyle blog, www.goodfulness.com, is her space to share her real food recipes, food resources, and health articles.
Painful, ongoing acid reflux sent Rose on a journey of self discovery and led her to the Institute of Integrative Nutrition. As a certified holistic health coach, Rose knows that food can heal and prevent illness. Because we each have our own biology, no one way of eating works for everyone.
