Welcome to the world of pole dancing! This is where you will fall in love with pole! In this 8 week series you will learn the basic pole dance technique, build strength and confidence. Build a common relationship between you and the pole with your classmates. Every class begins with a 20 minute warm up for strengthening and conditioning and ends with a 10 minute cool down.

Classes meet once a week for an hour and a half. At the end of your 8 weeks, you will be floating comfortably around the pole and eager to learn more. And at the end there will be a little performance party and graduation into the next level. Level 2!

So let’s start from the beginning and progress. Each week there will be a new element introduced to you and we stacked that on top of previous weeks learnings with a thorough review.

Week 1:
Intention: Get in touch with your feminine side.
• Focus on floor work
• Walking around the pole
• Pole posing
• Knee hugger spin
• Stand & Deliver

Week 2:
Intention: Feel the music.
• Review of week 1 (progression)
• Tempo and rhythm
• Around the World spin
• Fireman Spin

Week 3:
Intention: Dance with follow through.
• Review of week 1-2 (progression)
• Tango spin
• Ocho’s and Crossovers
• Proper Dips

Week 4:
Intention: Strength and Control
• Review of week 1-3 (progression)
• Focus on delivery and execution
• Combo spins and transitions

Week 5:
Intention: Soft and Slow
• Review of week 1-4 (progression)
• Focus on the details
• Crazy Diamond Spin
• Selenia Say’s Freestyle

Week 6:
Intention: Attitude & Presentation
• Review of week 1-5 (progression)
• Begin freestyle (lacing 5-10 moves together)

Week 7:
Intention: Performance & Fluidity
• Review of week 1-6 (progression)
• Work on freestyle movement (lacing 10 moves together)

Week 8:
Intention: Graduation & Class Performance
• Review of week 1-7
• Dress up and dance to the song that moves you!

This series is available to members on the regular schedule.

PRICE: $150 for just the workshop
This series is included in our memberships at no additional cost!

You are welcome to wear anything that makes you feel comfortable to move in. Yoga Pants, tank tops. shorts. Heels are encouraged, but not required.

Avoid lotions, oils and conditioners the day of your class to avoid grip issues.
